Creating a Microsoft Intune App

You can upload any MSI file into a Microsoft Intune app for deployment to enrolled users and groups.

  1. Login to https://endpoint.microsoft.com/.
  2. Navigate to Apps > All apps, then click +Add.
  3. Select Line-of-Business app as the App Type.
  4. Upload your MSI file in the App Package File field.
  5. Confirm the information for the MSI file, then click OK.
  6. Click App Information from the Add App section and enter the following information:
    1. Enter an identifiable name for the installer package in the Name field.
    2. Enter an identifiable description for the installer package in the Description field.
    3. Enter the publisher's information in the Publisher field, if applicable.
    4. Set Ignore App Version to No.
    5. Select a category that aligns with the installer package in the Category field.
    6. In the Command-line Argument field, enter the following information: /quiet /passive APIKEY="$m2wSHWFORquDV3OC/gqF7Q==.v3JwFdJn1HNtrskt9GW59rlOAPBbeZhy16AenY868=$" SERVER_URL="https://iae68cd8a77944443139518a26169dde.dev-rapididentity.com" DOMAIN="."
  7. Click OK, then click Add.
  8. In the Assignment tab for your installation package, click Add Group.
  9. Select the groups you want to assign this app to.
  10. After configuring your groups, click Select to save.
  11. Click Review + Save.
  12. After reviewing your installer package, click Create.
