You can use the Orca editor from the Microsoft Windows SDK to edit the entries of an MSI installer package and create a transform file.

  1. Install the Windows SDK.

    To download the Windows SDK, see Windows SDK components for Windows Installer developers from Microsoft.

  2. After you install the Windows SDK, drag your Windows Authentication Client MSI installer package onto the Orca application icon.
  3. Open Orca, and then navigate to Transform > New Transform.
  4. Apply your changes, and then click Generate Transform.
  5. Enter a name for the transform file, and then save the file.
