Skyward Qmlativ supports a SAML-based single sign-on (SSO) service for its web-based application
that you can configure in your RapidIdentity portal. These configuration settings
are an example and may vary for individual configurations.
Requirements
- Skyward Super User access
- Access to your RapidIdentity administrator portal
- In Skyward, navigate to .
- Set the metadata URL to
https://your_base_url/idp/profile/Metadata/SAML. - Set the NameID Format to match your RapidIdentity settings.
- Access and save the Skyward metadata for later use.
- Navigate to your RapidIdentity administrator portal.
- From the module selector, choose Configuration.
- Select .
- Click , then click Create SAML Relying Party.
- In the General section, set the following:
- Name: A name for the SAML SSO
- Description: A description for the SAML SSO
- Metadata: Paste the previously saved Skyward metadata.
Important:
Remove the last / from the
AssertionConsumerService Location URL.
- In the SSO Settings section, set the options to either
Conditional or Never depending on your
requirements.
- In the Attribute Mapping section, click Add New Attribute
+ and create a new Name ID attribute as required by your
Skyward configuration.
- Click Create, then click
Save.
RapidIdentity and Skyward Qmlativ are now integrated, allowing users to
authenticate to Skyward with their RapidIdentity credentials.
