1. Log in to your domain controller as an administrator.
2. Right-click the folder that you want to use as the distribution point, and then navigate to Properties > Sharing.
3. Click Share this folder.
4. In Permissions, add groups or users that can access the MSI installer package.
5. Copy the MSI installer package and transform file into the shared folder.
6. Right-click the shared folder, and then select Properties > Security > Edit.
7. Click Add.
8. Enter the previously created security group, and then click OK.
9. Click Apply.
