An installer package can be assigned per user or per machine. If the installer package is assigned to a computer, it is installed silently.
  1. Navigate to Start Menu > Administrative Tools > Group Policy Management.
  2. Under Group Policy Objects, right-click the policy you want to assign a package to, and then click Edit.
  3. Under Computer Configuration, choose Software Settings.
  4. Right-click Software installation, and then click New > Package.
  5. In the Open field, enter the full Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path of the installer package.
    For example, \\<server>\<file name>.msi.
    Note:

Do not use the Browse button to access the location. You must provide the UNC path for the installer package.

  6. Navigate to Open > Advanced > OK.
  7. Choose Deployment.
  8. Choose Uninstall this application when it falls out of the scope of management.
  9. Choose Modifications.
  10. Enter the full UNC path of your transform file from the network shared folder.
  11. Click OK.
