After you configure and install the Identity Bridge Agent, you must create an Identity Bridge for each server path that you need access to, which may include the following:

  • Each file server from which you will share files

  • The full DNS name of the AD domain if you use DFS paths

  • The LanMan (short) name if it differs from the full DNS name

  • The fully qualified DNS name of each DFS namespace server

  1. Log in to your RapidIdentity administrator portal.
  2. In the Dashboard pop-up menu, select Configuration.
  3. In the sidebar, navigate to Systems > Identity Bridge > Agents.
  4. Click the three dots next to the Identity Bridge Agent name.
  5. Click Details.
  6. Scroll down to the Bridges section, then click Add Bridge.
  7. Complete the following fields:
    1. NAME: The name of the bridge.
    2. DESCRIPTION: A description for the bridge.
    3. ON-PREMISE HOST/IP: The IP address of the on-premises server or host that the bridge will connect to.
    4. ON-PREMISE PORT: The port on the on-premises host through which traffic will be routed. For file shares, use port 445.
  8. Click Save.
