A service identity must exist before you can generate an API key for the Windows Authentication Client. Each API key is associated with a service identity and assigned to a role in RapidIdentity.
Requirements
Tenant administrator or system administrator access is required.
- In the dashboard pop-up menu, navigate to .
Note:Only tenant administrators and system administrators have access to this menu.
- Click Add New Service Identity+.
Existing service identities are listed in the workspace. If the service identity you need is already listed, you do not need to create a new one.
- Enter a Name and an optional Description for the service identity, and then click Save.
The new service identity is listed in the workspace. You can now generate an API key and assign it a role.
