Use this procedure to upgrade an existing installation of the RapidIdentity Client for Windows using the command line. This method automatically applies your previous configuration settings.

Requirements
  • RapidIdentity Client for Windows is already installed on the device
  • Local administrator credentials on the device
  1. Download the RapidIdentity Client for Windows installer.
    Right-click RapidIdentity Client for Windows, select Save As, and choose a location in which to save the file.
  2. Open Command Prompt as an administrator on the Windows computer.
  3. Run the upgrade command.
    msiexec.exe /i "RapidIdentity Client for Windows.msi" /quiet /passive
Windows Authentication Client is upgraded to the latest version.
