Conditional Access Policies

Note:

Conditional access policies are a license-based feature that requires ShieldID in your tenant.

Conditional access is a policy-based feature which secures access to applications based on specific conditions and controls. These policies ensure that only permitted users can access protected resources, reducing misuse and strengthening application security. The following authentication methods are supported for the authentication challenge in a conditional access policy:
  • Mobile app

  • WebAuthn

  • Time-based one-time password (TOTP)

  • SMS

  • Email

For more information, see Creating a Conditional Access Policy.

Other Changes and Improvements

  • The legacy claim, login, and change password workflows include improved screen reader announcements and focus management for accessibility.

  • QR codes for onboarding the RapidIdentity Mobile application automatically recognize the user and authentication code, no longer requiring the authentication code to be inputted manually during enrollment.

  • The Community sidebar in the Reports module can now open and close without refreshing the report list.

  • All filter changes in the Reports module appear immediately after saving.

  • The "check_box_outline_blank" tooltip no longer appears over checkboxes in the Reports module.
