User Interface Changes for the Reports Module

Note:

These changes are available by default for new tenants. Existing tenants can contact their Account team to have these changes enabled.

  • Reports are visible when using Search Within in the Advanced Search function.
  • When accessing the Reports module using a Proxy As session, a "401 Unauthorized" error appears.

  • While editing a report, clicking outside of the editor window will display the option to Save, Cancel, or Don't Save.

  • The Report Query field now supports the following options:
    • Event ID

    • Action

    • Target

    • Target System

    • Perpetrator DN

    • Perpetrator IP

    • Date Occurred

    • Successful

Changes and Improvements for RapidIdentity Cloud

  • The default branding color for new tenants is now consistent across the Login, Claim, Go View, and password recovery screens.

  • The unified login workflow now includes:

    • Improved screen reader announcements

    • Focus management support

    • New error messaging

    • Updated navigation performance

  • Default policies and authentication settings are now automatically updated for existing tenants when upgrading to unified login.

  • The following error displays when a user attempts to delete a Duo configuration that is linked to an authentication policy: " Cannot delete the Duo configuration, it must be removed from the authentication method."

  • Error messaging is standardized and consistent when deleting a trusted identity provider linked to a policy, or when configuring the Portal Challenge authentication method.

  • The default staff policy is renamed to Default Baseline Policy, which applies to all adult accounts that do not have a sponsor.

  • After upgrading to unified login, all enrolled authentication methods from the tenant without unified login are automatically enrolled in the upgraded tenant.

  • Default forgot password policies are now created during a server upgrade when upgrading to unified login, which ensures new and existing tenants have a forgot password policy available to use.

  • Users can now access request comments alongside approval comments in the Workflow Expressions page with the following command: %{request.comments}

Changes and Improvements for ID Hub

  • All provisioning actions are tracked, including the type of event, the platform in use, the user, and the result in a JSON log file.

  • The Notification settings page has a new workflow to modify notification preferences and recipients.

  • User interface changes for the Reports module include:

    • Pagination to improve navigation through large reports

    • Pop-ups to display job details and report information

    • A share button to create links or export reports to a CSV file

    • Accessibility improvements for focus management

  • Active Directory adapters now support the departmentNumber attribute, allowing both source and target systems to read the connected field.

  • Administrators can opt-in to receive a daily email summary for all account updates. This summary is also available in the Reports module.

  • When a job fails or an individual account error occurs, a detail error report provides all the necessary information to conduct an investigation and troubleshoot issues.

  • Notifications are now sent automatically when a job fails or a threshold is breached. Administrators can add custom recipients for each of the available notification types.

  • All job records in the lifecycle database marked with an Unknown status for over 30 days are now marked as complete.

  • Alerts and reports can be sent to tenant admins, select users, groups, or custom email addresses.
