You can log in to a device using the Windows Authentication Client while the device is offline. To gain offline access, RapidIdentity users must be synced with your Active Directory server and the target user must authenticate once with RapidIdentity while their device is online and can access the Active Directory server.
Note:To retain offline access, users must sync their Active Directory and RapidIdentity passwords every time they change their password.
The Windows Authentication Client automatically enables offline mode for devices that are not connected to the internet, or if a device is linked to an Active Directory server and cannot access it. Upon entering offline mode, users will only be able to access the device with their username and password.
