Identity Hub sends four types of email notifications. Each type covers a different category of provisioning activity, send on a different cadence, and is configured independently.
Retry Notification report

- The automatic daily policy review process in Identity Hub
- Contents
- A list of all provisioning events that encountered a recoverable error and are being retried. Each event includes the target system name, entity name, entity ID, entity type, job ID, error message, and whether the retry succeeded.
Rename Notification report
- Frequency
- Daily, on any day that pending renames are in the queue
- Triggered by
- The automatic daily policy review process in Identity Hub
- Contents
- A list of all accounts currently scheduled for a username rename. Each account includes the scheduled rename date, the current username, and the future username after the rename completes.
Job Failure notification
- Frequency
- Immediately on failure
- Triggered by
- Any provisioning job that fails to complete
- Contents
- Details about the failed job, including the job name, job type, start time, and failure reason, plus a direct link to the failure log in the Reports module.
Job Failure due to Thresholds
- Frequency
- Immediately on threshold-exceeded failure
- Triggered by
- A provisioning job that was stopped because the number of changes exceeded a configured threshold
- Contents
- Job details plus a direct link to the failure log in the Reports module. The log shows the Thresholds status and the specific threshold that was exceeded.
