Identity Bridge uses the .NET runtime environment to facilitate agent installation and tunnel management. You must install .NET 8.0 prior to installing Identity Bridge Agent and adding a secure tunnel to your RapidIdentity tenant.
- From your local server, navigate to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/8.0 (Microsoft).
- Download ASP.NET Core Runtime.
- Locate the downloaded file, then run the ASP.NET Core Runtime x64 installer.
- Select I agree to the license terms and conditions, then click Install.
- After the installation completes, click Close.
- Return to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/8.0 (Microsoft).
- Download .NET Desktop Runtime.
- Locate the downloaded file, then run the .NET Desktop Runtime x64 installer.
- Click Install.
- After the installation completes, click Close.
Microsoft .NET 8.0 is installed on your local server.
