Configuring an SSO Application Federation in RapidIdentity

A federation is a trust relationship that links the identity provider to an application. To provide the single sign-on (SSO) session context for Seamless Learning Access iPad users, configure a federation in both RapidIdentity and each associated learning application.

Requirements

Access to your RapidIdentity administrator portal

  1. Navigate to your RapidIdentity administrator portal.
  2. From the module selector, choose "Configuration".
  3. In the Security section, click Identity Providers.
  4. Click Federation Partners in the sidebar.
  5. Click Add Federation Partner.
  6. Select the federation protocol required by the application to create a new federation with it.
