RapidIdentity allows administrators to configure a user agreement that displays on the first login attempt, or every time a user logs in.

Requirements

Access to your RapidIdentity administrator portal

  1. Navigate to your RapidIdentity administrator portal.
  2. From the module selector, choose "Configuration".
  3. In the Policies section, click User Agreement.
  4. Click Add User Agreement.
  5. Complete the following fields:
    1. To require users to click a checkbox before authenticating enable Agreement Required.
    2. In the Name field, provide a unique name for the user agreement.
    3. In the Title field, provide a title for the user agreement.
    4. (Optional) In the Agreement message field, provide a message that appears for users to acknowledge when they accept the user agreement.
    5. In the Body field, provide the agreement text that the user must agree to in order to continue using RapidIdentity.
  6. Click Save.
  7. In the Authentication section, click Authentication Policies.
  8. Select an authentication policy you want to assign the user agreement policy to.
  9. In the User Agreement section, select the user agreement you created.
    Note:

Policies that apply to RapidIdentity GO! users do not support the use of user agreements, as the app does not prompt users to agree to user agreements.

  10. In the Recurrence drop-down, select the frequency you want the user agreement policy to appear.
  11. Enable the authentication policy and save your changes.

The user agreement appears during their authentication process.

To prompt users with a user agreement without updating its content, navigate to Configuration > Policies > Authentication > Authentication Options > Reset User Agreement Status. You can select which policies to reset, which will prompt users targeted by that policy on their next login.
