Character Limit

When a provisioning target requires a username to be a specific number of characters or less, a character limit is used. After enabling this setting, each username generated will comply with the limit.

Collision Count Starts At

If a duplicate username is detected during the policy process, a digit will be appended to the username and resolve the collision. Under Advanced Settings, the default value for a collision resolution is set to 2. The number will increase by one until a unique value is achieved.
