To sync identity data from an SFTP server or S3 bucket, you can add a CSV file as a source in Identity Hub (ID Hub), then map attributes to the RapidIdentity Cloud Directory Schema. Adding a source allows you to connect data to downstream targets and manage identities from multiple systems directly in RapidIdentity.
Requirements
An administrator account in RapidIdentity
Your AWS or SFTP server credentials
The RapidIdentity Cloud Directory Schema for attribute mapping. For more information, see RapidIdentity Cloud Directory Schema.
- Log in to your RapidIdentity administrator portal.
- In the Dashboard pop-up menu, choose Identity Hub.
- Click +ADD SOURCE.
- Click CSV File.
- Click NEXT.
- Select the connection type: S3 or SFTP.
- If transferring from AWS, complete the following fields to configure the connection:
- In the Bucket Name field, enter the name of the S3 bucket.
- In the AWS Region field, enter the region in which your bucket is hosted.
- In the Object Key field, enter the path to the CSV file in the S3 bucket.
- In the Columns field, enter the names of the columns in the CSV file separated by commas.
- If the CSV file has a header, select the box next to Has Header?.
- Click NEXT.
- Enter your AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
- If using SFTP, complete the following fields to configure the connection:
- Click NEXT.
