Configuring Jamf Protect Offline Deployment Mode requires that you complete the following tasks:

  1. Create an action configuration that includes one or more data collection endpoints.

  2. Create a telemetry configuration.

See Creating a Telemetry Configuration for more information.

  3. Create a unified logging filter.

See Creating a Unified Log Filter for more information.

  4. (Optional) Configure an exception set to optimize the volume of collected telemetry data.

  5. Create a plan.

  6. Download plan configuration profiles and the Jamf Protect installer PKG for deployment via an MDM solution.

You can also create, configure, and scope an Offline Deployment Mode configuration schema using Jamf Pro without using the Offline Deployment Mode interface. For more information, see Creating an Offline Deployment Mode Configuration Schema using Jamf Pro .
