  1. In Jamf Pro, click Devices at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Click Configuration Profiles in the sidebar.
  3. Click New.
  4. On the Options tab, under General, add a Name. For example, "Tethering Control iOS".
    1. Under Restrictions, click Functionality.
    2. Search for Modifying personal hotspot settings.
    3. Select Restrict.
  5. On the Scope tab, assign the smart group:
    1. Under Targets, click + Add.
    2. Under Add Deployment Targets, click the Mobile Device Groups list.
    3. Find the smart group that you created and click Add.
    4. Click Done.
  6. Click Save.

You can now use the extension attribute as a UEM Tag in Jamf Security Cloud to control tethering via Jamf Pro.
