- In Jamf Pro, click Devices at the top of the sidebar.
- Click Configuration Profiles in the sidebar.
- Click New.
- On the Options tab, under General, add a Name. For example, "Tethering Control iOS".
- Under Restrictions, click Functionality.
- Search for Modifying personal hotspot settings.
- Select Restrict.
- On the Scope tab, assign the smart group:
- Under Targets, click + Add.
- Under Add Deployment Targets, click the Mobile Device Groups list.
- Find the smart group that you created and click Add.
- Click Done.
- Click Save.
You can now use the extension attribute as a UEM Tag in Jamf Security Cloud to control tethering via Jamf Pro.
