When you enable tamper prevention with Jamf Protect, most upgrade and installation tasks operate the same as when tamper prevention is disabled:
You can continue to update Jamf Protect using AutoUpdate in plan settings or manually deploy updates by installing the Jamf Protect PKG using an MDM solution.
For more information, see Enabling Automatic Agent Updates and Manually Deploying Agent Updates.
You can continue to uninstall Jamf Protect from computers with tamper prevention enabled using the official Jamf Protect Uninstaller PKG available for download within the macOS Security portal.
For more information, see Uninstalling Jamf Protect.
If you use the analytic remediation integration with Jamf Pro, you can continue to use workflows that remove files quarantined by endpoint threat prevention.
