Roaming detection notifications give you visibility of roaming users as soon as their status is detected. Note that this does not apply to any countries that have been included in the domestic plan within the Plan Details.
Data usage notifications can be sent after a specified amount of data is consumed, or at a percentage of the users' cap. These can be set for both Domestic, as well as Roaming usage.
You can set the following:
-
Point at which a data usage reminder is sent
-
Additional increments of data usage
-
Additional percentage point after the initial notification has been sent
When configuring mobile and Wi-Fi data usage notifications, you can configure separate policies and set exceptions per group of users. By default, the global Base Policy will apply to all users.

Changing the number of block notifications that can be sent per 24-hour period
A daily rate limit for push notifications is applied to each device separately. The default is 4 for low priority notifications per 24-hour period, per device, no matter the app or site. That is, the device would receive one notification per 24-hour period, per site or app.
If the device receives 4 other low priority notifications (typically security notifications), then no other low priority notifications (either block or other security ones) will be sent that day.
If you would like to change the number of notifications, contact Jamf Support.
