You can enable a change freeze to prohibit changes to the Jamf Protect tenant configuration.

Requirements

A change freeze can only be enabled and disabled by users with the assigned Change Management permission. For more information about user roles, see User Roles and Groups in macOS Security.

  1. In Jamf Protect, click Administrative > Account.
  2. Click the Change Management tab, and use the Enable Freeze switch to enable the change freeze.
  3. From the pop-up window, click Enable.
Users will be prohibited from making configuration changes to Jamf Protect during the change freeze. The Jamf Protect agent, web app, and API will be restricted to read-only access, with limited exceptions. A banner will be displayed notifying all users and administrators that a change freeze is active.
