You can customize your security policy further by allowing or blocking specific resources (such as domains, subdomains, and IP addresses) across all devices. This is done by creating and importing a CSV file that lists these resources.
You can classify resources in the file under the following threat categories:
Malware Network Traffic
Phishing
Cryptojacking
Spam
Third Party App Store Traffic
You can add custom threat intelligence at root or leaf level for your organization units:
When no intelligence currently exists at either root level or leaf level, you can add intelligence at any level.
When there is existing root level intelligence but no leaf level intelligence, you cannot add intelligence to the leaf level.
When there is existing leaf level intelligence but no root level intelligence, you can add intelligence to the root level. You will be warned that this will override the leaf level intelligence since the intelligence you upload to the root level will then be inherited at the leaf level instead.
If an admin adds additional intelligence at the root level after another admin has added intelligence at the leaf level, then the intelligence at the leaf level will be overridden. A warning will be displayed before override.
Jamf recommends that you always keep a copy of the CSV files that you upload so that you can restore previous settings if required.
