Preventing Date and Time Tampering
To stop users from circumventing the schedule by changing their device date and time, set forceAutomaticDateAndTime in the restrictions payload to true in your MDM.
- In your Jamf Security Cloud portal, navigate to and select the Content rules or Custom rules tab, depending on where you want to apply the schedule.
- Click the Schedules button.
- In the Your schedules window, click Create new.
- Enter a name for the schedule in the Schedule name field.
- Choose a Start date and time and End date and time, based on the device's time zone.
- (Optional) To create a recurring weekly schedule:
- Select Add recurrence.
- Select one or more days of the week from the menu.
- Select the time you want the schedule to start and end on your chosen day(s).
- Click Add more to create additional weekly recurrences.
- When your schedule is complete, click Create.
The newly defined schedule appears in the Your schedules window, and is available to choose from the Schedule menu on the Custom rules and Content rules screens.
