You can clone a Jamf-managed analytic to use it as a starting point for a custom analytic. When a Jamf-managed analytic is cloned, the resulting new analytic is a custom analytic, and the owner of the custom analytic is updated to the tenant ID. The cloned analytic is not linked to the original Jamf-managed analytic or managed by Jamf.

  1. In Jamf Protect, click Analytics.
  2. Click All Analytics.
  3. Select to the analytic you want to copy.
  4. In the Analytic Summary pane, click Clone.
  5. Edit the analytic as needed.
  6. Click Save.

You can now add the cloned analytic to one or more analytic sets.
