From the Alerts page, you can configure exception criteria for ignoring and suppressing events detected by a specific analytic:

  1. In Jamf Protect, click Alerts.
  2. Click on an alert to view its summary page.
  3. Click the Add Exception tab at the top of the sidebar.
  4. Do one of the following to configure the exception criteria for ignoring an event that would otherwise be detected and reported by an analytic:
    1. Select an existing Exception Set from the pop-up menu.
    2. Click + Create Exception Set and enter an exception name to create a new exception set.
  5. Select a rule for the analytic exception.
    Note:

The identifying analytic information for File Path, Process Path, and/or Platform Binary are pre-filled and do not need to be entered manually.

  6. Click Add Exception to save.
