Jamf continually monitors and updates new and existing web content in order to categorize it. However, it is possible for such content to appear in a Jamf Security Cloud report before this is possible.
If you find sites that have been missed from a category, or that you believe to be categorized incorrectly, contact Jamf Support.
Some sites may be classified in more than one category. This ensures that the site will be blocked if only one of the categories is selected for blocking. However, blocking the App Store and any technology that affects important services or network traffic, including volume purchasing MDM deployments via Jamf School or Jamf Pro, should be reviewed to ensure their impact is warranted. This includes content that is volume-purchased through Jamf School or Jamf Pro and deployed via MDM.
To improve functionality, Jamf continually adds new filtering policy categories. This can cause sites to move from an existing category into a newly created one. For this reason, Jamf recommends periodically reviewing your configuration.
