Apps and sites are collected in policy rules. You can configure settings for an entire policy rule, or apply different settings to specific sites and categories within the rule.Jamf Security Cloud blocks data from apps and sites as follows:
- Apps —Traffic that can be uniquely attributed to a specific app can be blocked. This is useful for controlling traffic from popular high-data usage apps.
- Sites —All web request traffic is classified into a category that is controlled by a policy rule, and so can be blocked on a category-by-category basis.
