You can add Exception Sets to a new or existing plan. You must manually add Exception Sets when one of the following occurs:

  • You create a new plan

  • You edit an existing plan

  • You create a new Exception Set you want to include in a plan

  1. In Jamf Protect, click Plans.
  2. Select the plan you want to add an Exception Set to.
  3. Click the Edit tab.
  4. In the Exception Sets section, select the Exception Sets you want to add from the pop-up menu.
    Note:

    When you create new Exception Sets, you must manually update your existing plans to include the new Exception Set. You can add up to 20 Exception Sets to a single plan.

  5. Click Save.
The plan now includes the added Exception Sets.
