"Wipe and Return to Service" has been added as a remote command option for iOS and iPadOS devices in Jamf Pro environments integrated with a Healthcare Listener instance. When triggered, target devices remember certain settings (e.g., Wi-Fi settings) after erasure and re-apply them automatically. They then return to a ready-to-use state for the next user while ensuring privacy and security among multiple users of the device.

To configure Jamf Pro to use this feature, navigate to Settings > Server > Infrastructure Managers > (your Healthcare Listener instance) > (your Healthcare Listener rule). Then click the Remote Command pop-up menu and choose "Wipe and Return to Service".

For instructions on adding a Healthcare Listener rule, see Healthcare Listener Configuration in the Healthcare Listener Installation and Configuration Guide.

Note:

If a target device is not in the scope of a PreStage enrollment with the Return to Service setting enabled, triggering this rule will wipe the device without reapplying the Wi-Fi profile. For instructions on configuring a PreStage enrollment with the Return to Service option, see Return to Service for Mobile Devices in the Jamf Pro Documentation.
