You can assign a user to a mobile device and populate user information from the Users tab. For more information, see User Assignments.

Note:

To assign a user to a device, the Jamf Pro user account must have the "Assign Users to Mobile Devices" privilege.

The User and Location category allows you to view the following information for a mobile device.

Note:

The Username field does not automatically populate in the inventory record when a computer or mobile device is enrolled by a Jamf Pro user who has an account in Settings > System > User accounts and groups. When testing workflows that involve populating user information, consider using test user accounts from your identity provider or a directory service like Active Directory.

The Managed Apple Account only displays for devices enrolled using User Enrollment.

Note:
