Jamf Pro supports the onPremisesExtensionAttributes resource type for Entra ID integrations. The onPremisesExtensionAttributes resource type is a JSON object containing 15 customizable properties that you can define in Entra ID.

You can use this resource in Jamf Pro in the following ways:

  • You can use onPremisesExtensionAttributes as a mapping option for Entra ID integrations. To change Entra ID mappings, go to Settings > System > Cloud identity providers, then select an Entra ID instance and click the Mappings tab.

  • You can also use onPremisesExtensionAttributes as a computer or mobile device extension attribute. For more information, see Computer Extension Attributes and Mobile Device Extension Attributes.

To use the onPremisesExtensionAttributes option in Jamf Pro, you must specify which property you want to use with dot notation.

Example:

onPremisesExtensionAttributes.extensionAttribute1 or onPremisesExtensionAttributes.extensionAttribute12
