Self Service+, in addition to these features, acts as an enhancement and eventual replacement for Self Service classic. It provides more integrations with other Jamf platform capabilities, such as Jamf Protect, and is intended to unify the end user experience into a single application.
When installed on a device alongside Jamf Protect, Self Service+ allows users to view their device's security status via the home screen's security dashboard. Devices with a Jamf Connect configuration profile will also display the Account management section, which allows users to view their account type and password-syncing status, and request temporary account elevations. You can also configure how Self Service classic and Self Service+ are displayed to users by replacing the default Self Service application name, icon, and header image with custom branded elements to present users with a familiar look and feel.
