Impact alert notifications provide enhanced visibility and control when modifying deployable objects (e.g., policies, configuration profiles, apps) or the group configurations they can be scoped to (e.g., smart computer groups, static mobile device groups, classes). This feature helps prevent unintended large-scale changes by giving administrators insight into how their modifications will affect devices and existing configurations across their organization. When enabled, a confirmation message displays a summary of changes to group membership or scope, including the total number of affected devices and the exact number of devices being added or removed. You can also optionally add an additional layer of confirmation that requires Jamf Pro users to type "Commit" in a confirmation dialog prior to deploying group changes.
