You must have the following to complete the Context-Aware Access integration:

  • Jamf Commercial Cloud, Jamf Premium Cloud, or Jamf High Compliance Cloud-hosted environment

  • A Google Workspace Customer account

  • A Google Workspace Enterprise SKU or Cloud Identity Premium SKU

  • A Google Admin account

  • Basic iOS mobile management enabled for your organization's Google integration

    To check if this is enabled, log in to the Google Admin portal, navigate to Devices > Settings > Universal > General > Mobile Management, and ensure that the iOS setting is set to "Basic".

  • A Jamf Pro User account with Conditional Access and Smart Group privileges for users

  • Google Chrome with the Endpoint Verification extension installed on a macOS device

  • Self Service installed on an iOS or iPadOS device

Important:

A Context-Aware Access license is needed if access level policies on cloud-based and on-premises applications and virtual machines running on Google Cloud Platform leveraging Google Cloud Identity Aware Proxy will be applied.
