Viewing Mass Action OS Update Information

You can monitor the progress of an update in the Management and History tabs of computer and mobile device inventory records when you deploy updates via mass action. This information is useful for Jamf Pro administrators who want to inspect the progress and history of individual managed updates.

  1. In Jamf Pro, click Computers or Devices in the sidebar.
  2. Click Search Inventory in the sidebar.
  3. Enter one or more search terms and press the Enter key or click Search to find all computers or mobile devices.
  4. Click the computer or device you want to view management information for.
  5. To view the operating system update, click the Management tab, and then click the Operating System category.

  6. To view the operating system history, click the History tab, and then click the Operating System History category.
