- In Jamf Pro, click Computers in the sidebar.
- Click Configuration Profiles in the sidebar.
- Select the configuration profile, and then click Edit in the bottom-right corner of the pane.
- Edit payload settings as needed.
- Click the Scope tab and edit the computers and users to which the profile should be applied.
- Click Save .
- Select one of the following options from the Redistribution Options dialog:
- Distribute to All —The configuration profile will be distributed to all computers in scope, including computers that already have the profile installed. On those computers with the profile already installed, the existing profile will be uninstalled and the newly edited profile will then be installed.
- Distribute to Newly Assigned Devices Only —The configuration profile will be distributed only to computers in scope that do not already have the profile installed. If a computer already has the configuration profile, the computer will not receive the newly edited profile.
- Click Save .
The profile is redistributed to the deployment targets in the scope the next time they contact Jamf Pro based on the selected redistribution option.
