- In Jamf Pro, click Devices in the sidebar.
- Click Configuration Profiles in the sidebar.
- Select the configuration profile, and then click Edit in the bottom-right corner of the pane.
- Edit payload settings as needed.
- Click the Scope tab and edit the devices and users to which the profile should be applied.
- Click Save .
- Select one of the following options from the Redistribution Options dialog:
- Distribute to All —The configuration profile will be distributed to all devices in scope, including devices that already have the profile installed. On those devices with the profile already installed, the existing profile will be uninstalled and the newly edited profile will then be installed.
- Distribute to Newly Assigned Devices Only —The configuration profile will be distributed only to devices in scope that do not already have the profile installed. If a device already has the configuration profile, the device will not receive the newly edited profile.
- Click Save .
The profile is redistributed to the deployment targets in the scope the next time they contact Jamf Pro based on the selected redistribution option.
