You can configure Shared iPad settings during Automated Device Enrollment in Jamf Pro. For help with choosing the number of users or shared quota storage, see Prepare Shared iPad in Apple Platform Deployment.
In Jamf Pro, click Devices in the sidebar.
Click PreStage Enrollments in the sidebar.
Click New .
On the General payload, select Enable Shared iPad.
Temporary Session Only —Disables Managed Apple Account login, only allowing guest account access
Temporary Session Timeout —The length of time, in seconds, that a device may be left idle during a guest session before being logged out.
Note:
There is no confirmation or warning and all session data for guest accounts is deleted at logout. Make sure users are aware of this time limit.
User Session Timeout —The length of time, in seconds, that a device may be left idle during a user session before being logged out.

There is no confirmation or warning. Even though user session data is backed up to iCloud, unsaved work may be lost. Make sure users are aware of this time limit.
Number of Users —The maximum number of users that may log in to the device until the last cache data is removed from the device. For more information, see Prepare Shared iPad in Apple Platform Deployment.
Use Storage Quota Size —Overrides the Number of Users setting allowing users to only store a certain amount of data, in MB, on the Shared iPad.
Configure the rest of the PreStage enrollment.
Select the appropriate devices from Scope for this PreStage enrollment.
Click Save .
Wait for the settings to sync back to Apple.
The "Information out of date. Awaiting next sync." message displays until the sync operation is complete. You can refresh the browser page occasionally to update the sync status.
Power on and enroll devices.
Shared iPad will be automatically configured after enrollment.
