Changing Shared iPad Settings After Enrollment

After an iPad is enrolled as a Shared iPad, the Shared iPad settings can be changed in Jamf Pro without having to re-enroll the device.

  1. Use an advanced mobile device search to find the devices. For instructions, see Creating an Advanced Mobile Device Search.
  2. Click View to show the list of devices in your advanced search.
  3. Click Action.
  4. Select Send Remote Commands and click Next.
  5. Select Set Shared iPad Settings.
  6. Adjust the Shared iPad settings as necessary and click Next.

    For more information, see Remote Commands for Mobile Devices.

A remote command will be sent to all devices in the search and their Shared iPad settings will be updated.
Note:

This only affects the Shared iPad devices in the search at the time the remote command was sent. To make sure these settings take effect on future devices, update the PreStage enrollment settings accordingly.
