  1. In Jamf Pro, click Settings in the sidebar.
  2. In the Computer management section, click Dock items .
  3. Click New.
  4. Configure the Dock item's display name, type, and path.
    Note:

    Enter %20 in place of any spaces in the Path field (e.g., file://localhost/System/Applications/App%20Store.app/).

    You can replace localhost to create a path that looks like the following (using file:/// instead of file://localhost/): file:///Applications/Microsoft%20Excel.app

    Apps installed with macOS require a different path because they are not stored in the Applications folder like third-party apps are. For built-in macOS apps, use paths like the following: file://localhost/System/Applications/Chess.app or file:///System/Applications/Chess.app

  5. Click Save .
