Below the child's name and device information, a switch displays next to Websites, Restrictions, and Allowed apps. These switches control each section.
The Device Rules section always displays and cannot be controlled using a switch.
Use each switch to show or hide the corresponding section and apply or remove its settings on the child's device. Each switch has two settings:
- Switch on —The section displays and its settings are applied to the child's device.
- Switch off —The section is hidden and its settings are removed from the child's device. Your settings are saved and reapplied to the child's device when you turn the switch on again.
For example, if the Websites switch is on and you configured websites to block, those websites are blocked on the child's device. If you turn the Websites switch off, the Websites section is hidden and the websites are no longer blocked on the child's device, but your list is saved. You can turn the Websites switch on again to display the Websites section and reapply the blocked websites list to the child's device.
