By removing your child's device from Jamf Parent, you will no longer be able to manage their school-issued device.
Note:
You must remove a child's device from your iPhone before it will be removed from the Apple Watch app.
If there are multiple supervising devices, you must repeat the removal process on each supervising device.
The process for removing a child's device varies depending on how many child devices the parent device is paired with and the pairing method:
- If you paired with one or multiple child devices via QR code or one child device manually, tap the parent and child button in the upper-left corner and tap the avatar of the child's device you want to remove. Then tap the more options button in the upper-right corner and tap Remove Child. When prompted to confirm the removal, tap Yes.Important:
Tapping Remove Child will remove all your paired child devices that are registered to the same school from Jamf Parent, not just the selected child device.
- If you paired with multiple child devices manually, tap the parent and child button in the upper-left corner and tap the avatar of the child's device you want to remove. Then tap the more options button in the upper-right corner and tap Remove Child. A confirmation dialog containing a list of all child devices that will be removed displays. When prompted to confirm the removal, tap Yes.Important:
This process removes all paired child devices.
