The way your Jamf Parent app looks and functions depends on the software your school uses to manage devices, and whether you are using Jamf Parent on an Apple or Android device.
  • If you have an Android device, follow the instructions provided on Using Jamf Parent to Manage a Child's Device (Android).

  • If you have an Apple device, follow the instructions below to identify the app used on your child's device to pair with your device—the "Self Service" app or the "Student" app. This information will determine which set of instructions to use for Jamf Parent.

On the child's device, tap Settings and then tap Apps and look for "Self Service" or "Student" in the list:
