You can use Jamf Parent to choose which specific apps your child can use on their school-issued device for a set duration of time.

  1. Tap the child's device you want to configure allowed apps for.
  2. Tap Allowed Apps.
  3. In the Clear after section, select the duration of time, in hours and minutes, during which only the allowed apps will be available on the child's device.
  4. Select the checkbox next to each app you want to allow. All other apps will be restricted.
    Note:

    You can enter a specific app name in the search field to find it in the apps list.

  5. Tap Save in the upper-right corner.

The Allowed Apps settings are applied to the child's device.

If a child's device is offline, the settings will be applied the next time the device is online.

To clear Allowed Apps settings before the configured time is over, tap Allowed Apps and deselect the checkbox next to each app you want to remove, or tap Clear All to remove all applied allowed apps at once, then tap Save.
