Using the Purchase Date Field

The Purchase Date field helps save time and have better historical records by storing device data right inside Jamf Now.

  1. Navigate to the Devices page, then click on the device for which you'd like to add a purchase date. This will take you to that device's dashboard.
  2. Once on the device dashboard, click Edit Purchase Date under the Purchase Date field.

  3. A menu will appear on the right side of your screen. Enter the purchase date information that you would like to store.

You are now storing the device purchase date directly in the Jamf Now dashboard.
