Renewing Your Volume Purchasing Content Token with Apple Business

Jamf Now integrates with Apple Business to help you manage and purchase apps for your organization. Each year, you need to renew your content token (formerly server token) to maintain communication with Apple Business.

Requirements

Access to Apple Business with an Administrator or Content Manager role

  1. Log in to Jamf Now.
  2. Click Volume Purchasing.
  3. Click Renew.
  4. Select Apple Business and click Next.
  5. Log in to Apple Business.
  6. Click on your account name in the top-right corner, and then choose "Settings" from the pop-up menu.
  7. Click Payments & Billing in the sidebar.
  8. Under the Apps & Books tab, click Download next to the correct content token.

    The token downloads to the Downloads folder on your computer.

  9. Navigate back to Jamf Now and click Next.
  10. Drag and drop or click Browse to upload your content token in to Jamf Now.
  11. In the dialog window, leave "Renew my server token" selected and click Continue.
  12. Select the App Store country or region and click Continue.
  13. (Optional) Enter the Apple Account to receive a renewal reminder in Jamf Now.
  14. Click Save.
Your token will now upload to your Jamf Now account. After it is uploaded, you will see the code and the expiration date for your token.
