OS Updates is a feature that Jamf Now users can use to ensure devices have the latest versions of iPadOS, iOS, macOS, or tvOS.
Updates may take up to 15 minutes depending on the number of devices, number of updates, and other processes an individual device might already have running.
Note:
OS updates can only be restricted for a limited period of time using the Delay OS Update restriction. For more information on delaying OS updates, see Restrictions for Devices.
Jamf Now cannot push the install of Rosetta 2 for Mac as an OS update. For more information on installing Rosetta 2, see If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac from the Apple Support website.
