Requirements
The device must be connected to the internet to receive the command.
  1. Log in to Jamf Now.
  2. On the Devices page, click the device you would like to lock or unlock.
  3. To lock the device, click Lock.
  4. To unlock the device, do the following:
    1. Click the Action pop-up menu (•••) and select Unlock device.
    2. Click Unlock.
    Note:

    Keep the following in mind about using the Unlock command:

    • Sending the Unlock device command clears any passcode set on the device. If the device's blueprint requires a passcode, the device will prompt users to set a new one.

    • If the Prevent Changes to Passcode restriction is enabled, the device will not prompt users to set a new passcode until the restriction is disabled.

    • Clearing the passcode also resets Face ID and Touch ID.
