Preview Feature: Malware Prevention via Jamf Protect Integration

You can now enable Malware Prevention on macOS to detect, block, and quarantine malicious processes by deploying Jamf Protect. To use this feature, you need to be on the Jamf Now Plus plan.

To enable Jamf Protect, navigate to Blueprints > Security.

For more information on enabling Malware Prevention with Jamf Now, see Malware Prevention via Jamf Protect Integration.

Preview Feature: Jamf Self Service for macOS Integration

You can now make Mac App Store apps and custom ("third-party" or "in-house") apps available on computers by installing Jamf Self Service for macOS.

Self Service allows users to browse and choose which apps they install on their computer. You can also add a description for custom apps to display in Self Service.

To deploy apps using Self Service, you must be on the Jamf Now Plus plan, and deploying apps to computers with macOS 10.13 or later. The status of Self Service on a device displays on the Device dashboard.

For more information on displaying apps in Self Service, see Deploying an App to All Devices in a Jamf Now Blueprint.
